Vernon Building Society Host Free Family Fun Day in Vernon Park – 18th May

Stockport mutual, Vernon Building Society, is hosting a free family fun day in Stockport on Saturday 18 May at 12 to 4pm. Hosted in partnership with Pure Innovations, who run the Vernon Park café, the free event is to celebrate Vernon Building Society’s 100^th birthday.

Families can enjoy free face painting, a range of crafts including making bears from paper plates, jewellery making with beads and decorating ceramic bears. There will also be an opportunity to meet the mascot, Vernon Bear, who is organising a special ‘bear hunt’ around the park. Prizes are up for grabs for anyone that finds all the hidden bears.

Music will be provided by Poynton Brass Band, and Mentell.org and Stockport Fostering will have stalls.
