Poynton Town Council have received an update from Cheshire East Council regarding the current road closures for the shared space works in Poynton. They are as follows:
27 July to 7 August – Four-way traffic signals (manually controlled at peak periods) on London Road South for drainage works, granite sett removal and road reconstruction.
7 to 18 August – Road closure at on London Road South from the evening of 7 August for drainage works, sett removal and road reconstruction and resurfacing.
19 and 20 August – Road closure on Chester Road for Resurfacing work.
21 and 24 August – Road Closure on London Road North for road resurfacing.
25 to 28 August – Four-way traffic signals (manually controlled at peak periods) to the Fountain Place roundabouts for final repairs including road surface treatment.
