Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Sunday 12th November

This year’s Remembrance Day Parade and Service is on Sunday 12th November. The parade will leave the Civic Centre car park at 9.35am sharp, followed by the service at 10am and the Act of Remembrance at 11am at St George’s Church. As is customary, wreaths and poppies will be placed on and around the war memorial after the service.

The roads will be closed to traffic to allow the parade along Park Lane and across Fountain Place to St George’s Church, from approx 9.40am to 10am and 11:15-11:30am.  The road will also be closed for the Act of Remembrance between 11am—11:10am.
