Poynton Waste and Recycling Site is now Closed

Despite Poynton Town Council opposing the closure of the HWRC, Cheshire East Council have not listened to the local concerns and have now closed the centre.

The mobile household waste and recycling site will be based off Anson Road, Poynton, SK12 1TD (on
part of the HWRC site that is now under an emergency closure.)

The mobile HWRC will alternate between Bollington, Poynton and Middlewich and each site will receive 1 visit per month. This will take place on a Saturday from 8am to 10am.

You can only visit the mobile sites in a car.

The mobile HWRC will be at Middlewich on 10 August and Poynton on 31 August. From September onwards, the mobile HWRC will be at:

Bollington on the first Saturday of the month
Middlewich on the second Saturday of the month
Poynton on the last Saturday of the month
