The Poynton Probus Club provides opportunities for retired and semi-retired men for new friendships and discussion at lunches and other social gatherings. Membership is open to all men regardless of race, colour or creed.

We are an independent walking club, established in 1969 and based in Poynton. Walking mainly in the East Cheshire & Peak District areas, our members are from the surrounding towns & villages in Cheshire.

The Poynton (RBL) Concert Band creates music that inspires and unites. We honour our traditions, nurture talent, and embrace diversity, fostering an inclusive musical community.

Rollers Club run roller skating sessions in Poynton. We teach kids how to skate - Get your skates on!

Being part of Rotary is more than just giving back to the community by volunteering. It is also about you bringing your skills, experience and enthusiasm to help it thrive, whilst making some great friends along the way.

Poynton Round Table is all about being social, having a laugh, trying things you wouldn’t normally do, and doing some good in the local community. We are a social group made up of a bunch of regular lads, up to the age 45, often found in the pub.

Traditional animal displays, horticulture, competitions, machinery, amazing food, drink, hobbies and crafts, trade stalls and creative hobbies, we have shows and music that will make your day!

U3A provides opportunities for members to share experiences in a wide range of Interest Groups to pursue skills, knowledge and activities, not for qualifications, but for fun.

The Wine Circle meets at Poynton Legion Club in the Bailey Room. An informal gathering of young and old who enjoy good wine and a fun evening. In addition to our regular tastings, we also run event evenings.

Here at the club, we host a variety of events, ranging from snooker matches, quiz nights, crown green bowling, bingo nights, full cabaret evenings and more. The club grounds house our newly renovated function room, The Vernon Suite, The Snug Bar & our Lounge.

The club was founded in 1975 playing Rubber and Duplicate Bridge. Over the past few years it changed to become a Duplicate Bridge Club. Worth Bridge Club has evolved and following lockdown in 2020 has continued with weekly Face-To-Face Bridge.

Poynton Youth Brass Band is an independant organisation run by volunteers who are all parents of current and past players. Poynton Youth Brass Band is committed to the well-being of children and young people linked to our organisation.
