Childrens Groups

Girlguiding Poynton District has 13 units: 2 Rainbows (girls aged 5 – 7), 6 Brownies (girls aged 7 – 10), 4 Guides (girls aged 10 – 14) and 1 Ranger unit (aged 14+). We are always looking for adult volunteers to help. Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.

Wiggles Tots Group held at St Paul’s Pre-School, Marley Road, Poynton SK12 1LY. Aside from the social benefit, we are aiming to provide a stimulating environment for your child. There will be ample opportunities to explore pre-school learning and to play with new toys, enjoy new sounds and make new friends.

Learn to dance and have fun at Poynton School of Dance. We offer baby ballet/pre school dance, modern theatre, jazz, and tap dance classes to children from aged 18 months.

At our venue on Bulkeley Road, Scouts are adventurers and team players for everyone. We camp, hike, swim, abseil, cycle, canoe, make friends, play games, and have loads of fun together.

At Lawrence Place Scout Hut off Coppice Road, Scouts are adventurers and team players for everyone. We camp, hike, swim, abseil, cycle, canoe, make friends, play games, and have loads of fun together.

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers, and it's for everyone. We go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. We make friends, have fun, play games, and work in teams. Join us at Lawrence Place Scout Hut.
