An exhibition inside a train is heading to Stockport, and it’s completely free to visit from 1 to 6 May from 10.00am until 5.00pm.
Co-curated with the National Railway Museum and packed full of interactive exhibits and amazing stories, ‘Inspiration’ reveals how railways transformed the world.
It includes a fascinating look at railway firsts, hands-on engineering challenges and a whistle-stop tour of interesting and lesser-known careers on the railway.
More than 80,000 have already visited Inspiration on its 60-stop, year-long tour of Britain and 9 in 10 would recommend it to a friend. Inspiration’s tour ends in June, so this could be your last chance to see it!
Inspiration is part of Railway 200, the national campaign celebrating 2 centuries of the modern railway.
