Poynton Goes Green Eco Fair on Saturday 30th April

Poynton Goes Green Eco Fair is on Saturday 30th April from 10am –1pm at Poynton Civic Hall. With something for everyone and entry is free.
The event is being organised by Poynton High School with support from Poynton Town Council. Poynton High School students are encouraging Poynton residents to be more eco-friendly and will offer suggestions for alternative environmentally friendly swaps. There will also be the opportunity to purchase products from local businesses and receive lots of advice too.
ANSA will be offering advice on how to ‘love food; hate waste; Coppice Road Allotments will be hosting a seedling/plant swop, so bring along any seedlings in a labelled pot– it doesn’t matter whether it’s veg or flowers. The National Trust, Scoop and Scales and Eco-Attic will also be there.

Come along to this event and you will find environmentally friendly products to view and buy and discover and share ideas on how to do more for the environment.
