David Rutley, the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Macclesfield is fully involved in assessing the future plans for Woodford Aerdrome.
As the site closes, its future use is a concern to many Poynton and Woodford residents. Local Councillors are continuing to work in partnership with Woodford Aerodrome to ensure that any developments on the site are limited to the Stockport side of the plot.
The Green Belt is preserved and the full Poynton Bypass from Brookside Garden Centre to the Little Chef in Adlington can take a shorter route when the runway at Woodford Aerodrome is closed.
This development would be easier and less expensive to build, ensuring that the use of the Woodford Aerodrome site benefits the village and improves the community.
