The children who attend the club enjoy the freedom to play indoors and outdoors choosing what activity they want to do. The club has a homely corner with sofas and comfy chairs, home from home with healthy snacks and drinks which the children like to help with.
The club was set up in 1991 by two local mums who were childminders at the time and the Club sited on Vernon Primary School in the Canteen Rooms thrived with 56 children attending most evenings.
As the numbers of children have decreased over the years within the village the club has continued to operate and the numbers of children attending are increasing.
Yvonne and Julie try to keep the price of the childcare reasonable as having been working parents at one time understand it can be finacially difficult.
Yvonne and Julie also operate a flexible availability for children to attend and will also cover for emergencies.
