Social media website for people living with Dementia
The site is at
www.demenshare.com and is for people living in central and east cheshire. It launched on 14 October 2010 and has an online community. The idea is to support people and signpost them to the help and advice they need and to make sure that they don't feel isolated if they have dementia or are caring for someone with the condition.
It is funded by Local Government Improvement and Development and is a partnership between Cheshire East Council, Age UK Cheshire, Central and eastern Cheshire PCT and Opportunity links.
