Dogano Closed After 30 Years

As Dogano has closed down after many years trading with local residents, poynton pet owners will now have to look somewhere else for their pet supplies.

Dogano supplied items ranging from cat toys, dog food and fish tanks to collars, tags and beds.  Dogano also housed several smaller pets such as hamsters, birds and rabbits.

Over the years the local pet shop was used by many residents, and relied on for many of their pet needs, however, more recently as larger supermarkets have moved into the local area, many local businesses have began to suffer.

Dogano is not the first local business having to close due to a lack of trading, and it may very well not be the last.

This is just another reminder to residents of how important it is to support our local small businesses, many of whom, such as Dogano, have been cherished over the years and will be soarly missed by many.
