21st CENTURY KEYS TO THE DOOR!
Head Teacher Mrs Joanne Glimmerveen was thrilled to be finally handed the keys to the new state of the art building extension at Vernon Primary School in Poynton. Site Manager, Rob Branch of Willmott Dixon Construction Limited conducted the official handover which was also attended by other members of the buildings team, school staff and Governors.

Mrs Glimmerveen said ‘We are delighted with our new 21st Century facility and the children are very excited about using the new classrooms and specialist rooms that have been created for them. There is a dedicated Music room, ICT suite, Gifted and Talented area, Dance Studio and outside Amphitheatre,to name but a few.
Mr Branch of Willmott Dixons said ‘It has been a pleasure working alongside Vernon Primary School. We have established an excellent working relationship and this has gone a long way to help delivery of the project on schedule at exactly 52 weeks.’
