Staff and pupils of
Worth
Primary School were very pleased to welcome Mrs Garcia Falcon who has joined the school, for this academic year, to teach Spanish throughout the school.
Mrs Garcia Falcon is usually based at the partner
school of
Worth, in Zaragoza in the
Aragon region of
Spain. Mrs Garcia Falcon is teaching Spanish to all classes but she is also teaching other subjects to most classes and is acting as a full time member of staff at Worth. The
Aragon region is very pleased with this posting and the Spanish press and TV are also interested in the links between Poynton and
Zaragoza. The Minister of Education for
Aragon will soon take part in a [Skype] video conference link between Worth school and Julien Nieto Tapia, the partner school. Over the last few years all classes at Worth have kept regular links with
Zaragoza by Skype. Staff exchanges have also taken place with Worth staff teaching in
Zaragoza and staff from the partner school visiting Worth. This link was created as a result of work Mr Taylor has done in
Spain.
