Delegations from
China visit
Worth
Primary school on a regular basis. The Chinese are interested in seeing the school in action as Worth is a
Foundation
Trust
School and is self managed and self directed yet it still welcomes all pupils from our area. The Chinese are also very interested in the fact that teachers at Worth think of pupils as individuals and try to adapt their teaching to the needs of each individual. It is common for primary schools in
China to have several thousand pupils with classes ranging from 50 to 90 pupils per teacher!
Mr Taylor, Headteacher at Worth, also works with the Chinese groups at
Manchester
Metropolitan
University [one of the trust partners of the school]. This link was created as a result of international work undertaken by Mr Taylor.
