Weddings are in the air at the moment, with not one but two royal marriages coming up in the next few months. One of the most important and indispensable elements of any wedding is the music, and to help couples choose exactly the right music and singers for their own very special day, The Cheshire Consort has produced a short guide.
The Cheshire Consort is a small group of singers, drawn from amongst the members of St George’s Singers, the Poynton-based choir which is now recognised as one of the leading choirs in the North West. The Consort sings at civil and church weddings throughout Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales, and has a broad repertoire of classical and modern works. Recent bookings have included weddings in Manchester City Centre, small rural churches, full nuptial masses as well as civil partnership ceremonies.
