We have both volunteered at Maggie’s Manchester since the centre opened and have witnessed first-hand what an amazing job these centres do for patients and their familes and friends affected by their cancer diagnoses.
So much so that we have chosen to take part in a charity trek along an unrestored section of the Great Wall of China in October to raise funds for Maggie’s. The pub quiz is one of several events we are planning before we go.
