______________________________________________________________________________

As February begins, Cheshire East Libraries are not open for general use, but you can still borrow books using our Order & Collect service:

  • Ring or email your local library with the details. Please note that library staff will be available for limited hours only
  • Provide your library card number as well as your contact details
  • Provide a brief description of the type of books you require. Please be aware that the availability of books is limited to what is on the library shelves. Regrettably specific book requests can’t be placed at this time

The library staff will choose books for you up to a maximum of 8 each time. They will issue them to your library card and arrange a collection time with you. You can also return books when you come to collect. Please wear a face covering when collecting your books. (This service is not available at Prestbury Library). Arrangements are subject to change in line with Government guidance.

Your Library Online
You borrow e-books, e-magazines and e-audiobooks, and use our e-resources section including online newspapers from the comfort of your own home. Why not trace your family tree with at home access to Ancestry and Find My Past? Just login to your library account for details on how to access these resources.

Futures Wonder Lab® Challenge

The third challenge in the Cheshire East Flow In Action Futures Wonder Lab® Challenge for young people aged 5-16 will launch on Saturday 6th February. Find details of this month’s challenge and how to take part on our Latest News page.
