Vernon Time Capsule  
There has been a great deal of excitement at Vernon Primary in Poynton as they have prepared bury a time capsule.

21st Century Keys to the Door  
Head Teacher Mrs Joanne Glimmerveen was thrilled to be finally handed the keys to the new state of the art building extension at Vernon Primary School in Poynton

Lets Get Growing!  
The children and staff at Vernon Primary school were very excited and honoured to be presented with a second place ‘Go Green’ Environmental Innovation Award in the form of a cheque for £1000.

New Kids on the Block!  
VERNON Primary School pupil Luke Knight was thrilled to be the winner of a ‘guess the colour of the goat’ competition run by link school St James in Uganda.

Robert Branch of Willmott Dixon Construction Limited has been awarded the company’s ‘Top Site Manager for Health and Safety’ for the development work at Vernon Primary School in Poynton.

Dogano Closed After 30 Years  
Poynton's local pet shop, Dogano, has been forced to close after almost 30 years of supplying local residents and their pets with food, toys and other supplies.
